I just picked up my CVO Ultra and i thought i remember reading somewhere that it came with the garage door opener but i did not get the reciever with the bike. First, is the transmitter already wired in and did the dealer miss putting the reciever in with the other accessories included? thanks

Read the manual on your garage door opener. It is usually hold till it blinks then hit the switch on the opener or something to that sorts. Theh manual should let ya know how to do it.

I got a 2009 Used CVO Road Glide and it came with the garage door opener. I looked up how to install it and it looks like you plug in the receiver and then wire in that receiver when plugged in to the opener. I have the piece where you plug it in, but since it came with a used bike I don't have the piece that you wire into the garage that plugs into the receiver. Anyone know if I could make the two prong piece or should I just go to the dealer and have them get the wire I need? If anyone has an idea on what I should do please message me or send me an email to [email protected] and I would much appreciate it.
Please see the attached PDF file and look at page 15 of 16 item labeled as 15 to better describe what I am missing.

Would anyone who has one of these know how I could make me a wire setup since I can't order what I need from the dealer. Spoke with parts guy and he stated couldn't order.

I would think you could just wire it in. It is like the cheap real skinny speaker wire that comes with new speakers. Very light weight wire.

Happen to know where I could find a cheap 2 prong connector that would fit the receiver with two wires already soldered on or at least the connector and I solder it?

If you haven't found the connector yet, take your receiver to a local electronics parts shop and they could hook you up. Radio Shack might also have one that fits.

Thanks. That's what I was planning on soon since all my shopping online resulted in finding what I wanted but you had to buy ten to twenty pieces and pay as much in shipping as the part cost.

what year did the garage door opener come on the cvo electra glides.i hv a 2011 model.
My 2009 Ultra CVO came with the garage door opener, and according to Total Motorcycle, Harley has been providing the opener and recever on all Ultra CVOs since 2006.
BTW, Total Motocycle is a great place to find phots, features, and specs on all makes and years of bikes:
