Just bought a 1987 FXRC with 13,000 mi. on it.As I understand it it was limited to 750 produced that year. Are these or will this bike be worth any more than a standard FXR in the future? This is basically a stock bike and I am going to change out the carb to a cv and a k&n filter.Any thoughts on pipes or cams? Also would anyone know what cam is stock?I understand there were two that it could be in those years. One was an L grind.

Prolly not really worth more IMO.
Looks to be an FXRS but with a color matched frame from what I could glean from the net.
Maybe foward controls, does yours have them?

The EV 27 is a great cam, with ported heads and a bump in compression to 10:1 my FXRS ran like greased lightning

Yeah mine has the color matched frame. No forwards, but same color scheme as the blue/black model in your first pic.The brace on the forks has 636/750 stamped on it.

Mine has the exact same color scheme but is completely stock. No drag bars, aftermarket rims or anything like that.Really I'd rather have it that way so I can make decisions on what I want and still have the stock stuff stored away.
