But, Yup...Evo Lifters is Evo Lifters... I don't thing your engine Knows it is in an FXR
Mine thinks it is still in a Softail....But, I'm gonna wake it up!!

got a deal on some s&s lifters put in with some adjustable pushrods bit of trial and error on adjustment , but all good , ya pays ya money and takes ya choice

Ultima lifters are allegedly made in USA, but I could not confirm who makes them. Other companies advertise USA made but can't tell you where they're from and I found out many of them are imported. Sometimes you can look at the machining marks and tell they're the same exact Chinese lifters that can be orders in bulk for about $20/set.
I ended up getting a set of China lifters.. will upgrade later to S&S I just didn't feel like spending 10x ($300) on 4 lifters.

Buyer beware.. many parts are advertised as Made in USA and they're cheap imports people are simply price-gouging on. I have confirmed this by looking at many different brands, from different sellers, scoured ebay, compared appearance and machining marks.

Made in America legaly includes assembled in Mexico with Chicom parts.

Past that, I seem to recall that Ultima got sued for selling Chicom tappets as being made in the USA, and has removed that from their advertising.

Lifters were one of the first things I replaced in my Ultima crate motor...... along with the R1 carb eventually While I would recommend Ultima motors I wouldn't necessarily recommend their lifters from the stories I heard of them grenading. S&S, Harley, Johnson etc but if I remember correctly there is two different "Johnson" lifter companies

I wonder about softails, what would be the best lifter for them, hmmmm. I bet the bar stool crowd will have something to say.
