Was thinking about getting one for my FXDWG. does anyone have any experience with one on thier wide glide.... Is it really worth it?

I occasionally use a Windvest detachable that I bought at Laughlin. It's pretty good but seems to keep the wind off my chest more than my face. Helps on long rides....

I have the HD detachable on my 2001 Wide Glide. Works well - get the taller version, I bought the short one and swapped it immediately for the tallker version.

Pops off easily to look better around town and goes back on easily for road trips. Really does cut the fatigue factor from wind buffetting on the road.

I have the HD compact detachable winshield on my 2003 Low Rider and I like it. It pops right off in seconds, and seems protect me ok. I rode without it on and ther is a huge difference. It's my first Harley and I've only logged @1,000 miles so I can't compare it with any others.
