I've replaced the front wheel on the Rod and am getting the rear polished as we speak. So now I have a front wheel without rotors that I no longer need. Anyone interested in it or know what to ask for it?

The new PM wheel came with rotor carriers on it. If you use the factory rotors, you just unbolt them from the factory hub and bolt on to the new carrier. The carrier has five spokes just like the wheel and is polished to match the wheel too. I did't have the cash to buy new matching rotors and was just going to keep the factory ones for a while, but now after seeing how good it looks with the factory floaters on it I'm not in a hurry to replace them with the expensive matching fixed rotors. I'll post pics when I get the rear polished and back on.

Redrod,

Just which PM wheel did you install? I was under the impression all of the replacement PM front wheels needed to use PM's brake rotors with them, adding substantally to the cost. So it had rotor carriers on the new wheel and used the stock discs? Please post a pic when you can. Thanks.

I put the Wrath on the Rod. I love the solid wheel on the rear since it makes the bike look powerful and it seems to go with with rear of the bike as everything is so close and densely packaged in the rear. But, the solid on the front just did't seem right pushed out all by itself and let's not forget the sail effect it has in crosswinds and the way if buffets in the dirty air around 18 wheelers anywhere over 50 mph. With the five spoke Wrath on the front the bike looks much more stylish and clean and there is absolutely no buffeting around the trucks, as I've already tucked in behind an 18 wheeler at 80 with no movement from the front of the bike. Just can't wait to get the rear back from the polisher as he's polishing the wheel, rotor, and pulley. Hopefully he'll have it done next week and I'll borrow and camera and get some pics.
