Got one of those weird front ends with cartridge on L front. Followed directions from an old post and nailed in about an hour. Had to fill L from bottom but no big deal. Put 15 w to help match my new Ohlins in the rear. Better but not close. I’ll have to test drive when it quits raining. Either Tractor Supply’s 1 3/8 “ wrench is out of spec or the fork.cap bolts are not 1 3/8”.

I've forgotten the size,, but I have a special flat socket made for the caps,, it can be turned with a 1/2" drive ratchet or a 7/8" wrench... I also have a crowfoot wrench that fits, as well..
A regular socket fits poorly, but will work,, preferably a 6 point,,, most times the bars must come off..
