1999 Ultra, I have a squeak in my front fork area every time I go over a bump, it's driving me nuts.

Would a worn or defective fork seal cause that?

Any other ideas?

If it's the fork seals how many hours would they charge at the dealership to R&R?

Thanks,
RB

Hey RB,

My old windshield made a squeaking sound from it flexing in the wind. You might also check the fairing brackets to make sure one is not loose or broken.

Had the same problem going over big bumps or through deep ruts on my Classic. Found the front fender mounting nuts just loose enough to allow the fender to move back or forward. Mine was more of a metal scraping sound than a squeal though.
