Hello, thinking of building custom flush mount tail light stop light combo in my new stretched fender. Already has a recessed area with a nice billett flush mount license cover. Any ideas where to buy red material that can be wet sanded down flush with the fender to look as it was made one piece?

maybe polycarbonate, you can get it in colors and it is tough as nails, you can also polish it out smooth as glass after with the right wheel and rouge

Have you checked out low profile taillights? I've seen some LED's that you basically just glass in to the fender....then you can create a shape by scuffing it, painting over an area, then reclearing...
