I've got the DVD and it's been a big help so far. When I started doing basic maintenance and repairs on cars, I had already seen others do the same stuff a bunch of times, plus I could always call my pop or a friend if I got in over my head. Years later, I just didn't have the same 'support group' for working on my Harley. In my humble but accurate opinion, the 'Fix My Hog' DVD is the next best thing.
I have the dvd and it appears using it with the manual it should be a big help. I am 200 miles from my 10000 service and will be doing it my self for the first time. I am going to take my time and hope that everything goes good.
Although the dvds did show a few items well, I do not recommend buying them as they are overpriced for the amount of information you will attain from watching them. At $9.99 they would be a good buy. For "Evo" touring bike owners the touring bike dvds are not very good at all.
