Found a really cool spot for my fire extinguisher to mount on the bike.

Looks like I can hook to the 1/4 20 bolt that holds the top of the license plate. And use the V shaped steel stabilizer piece to prevent rotation.

Cut off 6 7/8 of 2 inch aluminum stock in the break.

Onto the Bridgeport mill for some slots and holes

Paint it up and mount it up.....

I will run it some miles this weekend and let you all know.

I got them from Amazon.com

Neat idea, thinking some sort of soft contact material between the extinguisher and the rack would eliminate wear thru. (I have vibrated thru the bottom of a qt. of oil, sitting upright in the saddle bag.)

Gots me thinking, tho, about carrying one of those.

"Nice" to have but only ever seen one fire on a vehicle, be it car, truck or bike in 50 years of driving.
It was a battery fire on a car and I scooped snow from the ditch to put it out.
It did save the car from burning up.

Too much temptation for some prankster to pull the pin.
Bad enough when others think they can pose on your bike when you aren't around.
No respect!
