Have ridden up and down that road many, many times over the years, even though I live in Texas. It's always populated with motorcycles and bicycles, especially on Saturdays and Sundays. Seems like a local would know that and look twice, once closer-up for 2-wheel vehicles.

Yeah one would think.

I have had this happen to me too many times where the driver thinks they can beat the traffic, rather than waiting a few seconds more to have a clear shot.

Still tragic.
