I have a windshield on my 03 Wide Glide and it works great on keeping the cold wind off my upper torso. The problem is my hands get cold. I've thought about the heated grips but talking to other riders the grips are good for your palms but the knuckles and back of hands still get cold. I hate winter gloves...too bulky and hard to operate the controls.
So...I was wondering if anyone has come across a fairing (similar to the old Vetter Windjammers) or a wind deflector that may extend past the handlebars to help cut the wind? A long time ago I saw some windshields that were wider around the handlebars but I can't seem to find them now.
And I know...if I wanted a fairing, I should of bought one of the touring models.

I was wondering avout that

I did find the windshiled I was talking about from National Cycle but they don't have one that'll fir the Wide Glide...but I did find some hand deflectors from them which look like it may just be the ticket I'm looking for. Thanks for your help.
