I take delivery of a new Electra Glide Limited later this month. I have been using the RAM mount system for the Garmin on my '07 Street Glide, but now I am looking at the fairing mount Harley offers. The problem I have is that it seems to requiring some serious drilling of the inner fairing to mount it. Given that I plan to install the color matched inner fairing on my new Limited, I am not sure I want to cut up my inner fairing that way. Anyone experience this? Right now I am also looking at the fairing mount from Techmounts, as it only requires drilling one hole - which I think I can handle.

The only problem I see with the techmounts is that it would interfere
with any tweaters you may wish to add down the road, i.e. Hogtunes.

I mounted a ram mount in the center of my fairing. 2 holes for the ram and one with a grommet to feed the wiring. I also like having the GPS in front and not offset.

Tried to upload 2 photos, but the forum won't let me as they are already in another posting.
