Extended warranty

Jim Baker ! Long time no see buddy! How the hell is Jesica?

The extended is a crap shoot. If ya never use it you are supposed to get the money back.

Kind of like wearing a seat belt. If ya wear it ya probably will never need it. If ya don't, ya sure as hell will.

Go figure?

A lot of people never bother with them and would never pay for it. I on the other hand will pay for Harley's extended warranty because of my past track record. So far these extended warranties (on other vehicles other than Harley) have saved my butt. I've just been unlucky I guess because I had problems that would have cost me a lot of money if it hadn't of been for the extended warranty.

Personally I think it will at least buy you some peace of mind, cuz brotha you know some $hit will happen the day after the regular warranty expires
If ya got the scratch go for it, that bike is worth it.

done, bought the warranty today, now nothing will happen for the next 2 1/2 years...without it I know I'd have problems.

Have you looked into aftermarket warranties? I have seen some out there with $50 deductibles and cover all major parts for around $600 for 5 years.

I had a bad experience with an after market warranty. I had trouble getting service when I was broke down on a trip. I found out later that a "manufacturer's warranty" would have saved me a lot of exasperation. I was limited on where I could get service and the dealer said they didn't except what I had.
Anybody ever had this problem?
