I noticed something interesting early Saturday morning. It was pretty cold out when I cranked up the bike and I could see steam (?) coming out of the exhaust. What was strange was that it was only coming from one pipe. I put my hand near the exhaust and noticed that one side had more pressure coming out than the other side. Is this normal?

Yup! Probably until the engine warms up and both cylinders are hitting full. I think they all do it...front cylinder feels stronger than rear til running clear.

Exhaust Pressure.

Straydog,

The pressure you are referring to is exactly what I have found my scooters to be doing durinr start-up in cold weather. I have rode in the past quite a bit in the winter months and it is the same routine while warming up. Like Manny said, front cyl. will be stronger at first.

Ride Safe.
