I have a 92 Softail Custom. Changed the inner cam bearing from an INA to a Torrington (based on articles I read where the INA bearings could come apart - but I personally didn't have this happen). When I did that, I went to a different cam, lifters, pushrods. There are a few places where oil is starting to seep out, not really a leak, more like something you just wipe off.
The engine is very strong and I really don't worry about it. I just ride it. A friend of mine is getting ready to turn over 200,000 on a Springer Softail EVO. He also changed the inner cam bearing and he's gone through at least one rear belt. That's it. He rides all the time....
