[Misguided]

I put a lay down license plate bracket on my sporty. It sure looks better than the good awfull stock one. Two pics lower right are the new frame. Yes I need some shorter screws! What a difference it makes

also added the saddle bags

The saddle bag support brackets didnt supply new longer bolts for the top of the shocks. The dealer didnt have them either. Lowes did have some stainless steel bolts just the right size.

your right what a difference $30 makes, much nicer and cleaner looking

While assembling my bike we were at Lowes everday getting the bolts we need, much cheaper than the dealership too!

Your scooter is coming along nicely with the few mods you have done already. The license plate makes a big difference. I love Lowes, unfortunately the closest one is 80 miles away! Sometimes I hate where I live.

Plate looks good. Plus you've probably made it a bit safer! Argh...

The flatter and out of the way the better! I almost took one of my thumbs-off with the edge of a license plate many years ago. Everytime I see a license place sticking up in the air like that, I cringe and my thumb twitches a bit!

Omaha area may not be the best place to ride for weather, but got 3 Lowes, 3 Menards, 2 Sears, and Ace Hardware coming out of my ears.
