He can fix that awful air/fuel ratio between 2-4K rpms.
If there is more than one baffle choice which one do you have?
If you actually look at the time stamps for his dyno runs the "awful AF ratio" is the baseline run. The final run has a nice AF and is spot on in the area of the torque drop.

Angle, my dip didn't seem to be nearly as bad as yours, the only difference in our builds is the head porting I had done and I used roller rockers, mainly because I had them but also for the added lift. I wonder which of those made the difference. Probably a combination of the two. I'm thinking that the Woods 6 cam is very similar to the 37g but it gets the valves open faster and maybe that helps with flow at lower rpm this is probably sort of comparable to the extra flow of ported heads and the roller rockers I have.

nvsteve, thankyou for the reply. I dont think there is a baffle other than bassani tappered and luvoured 2.5 " that I have installed. I kinda think I would like to try a 2" baffle.

jasilva, ditto. I get to take it back for the 1000 checkup and oil change and final dyno, the map I have now is the preliminary break in map.history: new pistons and cylinders just 600 miles ago.

JC Rocks.

Do you know if there are 2 baffle sizes for the road rage 2-1?
Only one I know of, pull yours and check the packing, mine was blown out and cheap quality, I repacked with some better quality FMF stuff I use in my 4 stroke dirt bikes.
