I have been wondering about those pipes. How loud are they compared to others? And how is the fitment around the timer cover and brake arm?
BTW Nice bike.
pipes fit tight on both sides. all one piece, no clamps. no more tranny bracket or starter bracket. had to adjust floorboard and switched to a kuryakyn pedal, which looks better and is way more comfortable. they sound as good as they look. as soon as I got the stock set-up off it went straight to the dumpster. 2 nuts on the intake and 2 bolts to the rear on these pipes. thats it! clean and fat.
Be sure to get the Rienhart True Duals with 2" baffles for the street if you are running an 88 ci engine. (save the 2 1/4 stock ones for the 95" kit you WILL get later!)
Do the T-Rex Duals have baffles in them and if so are they removeable? They look awesome, I was just getting ready to pull the trigger on a set of V&H Big Shot Duals, but they are only 2.5" compared to the 3" Dia of the T-REX pipes. I have floor board extenders on my RK that move them out 3/4" Is the brake pedal an issue? Once again, SWEET looking ride, enjoy!
