Bike Week is about a month away. Anybody going? I'm dropping my bike off at the shop this weekend for a thorough inspection. I don't want any surprises this year. Last year the shifter shaft stripped out riding down in Key West, and the year before that the throttle cable snapped on A1A. To top it off I was riding with Valkyries, so I still get my balls busted for it. Hopefully everything goes well this year.

I'll be there later in the week, maybe around Thursday. It's a week later this year, which is going to scrape into Spring Break. Might be a fuster cluck, but who knows?

I'll be leaving here the 9th, should get there sometime Saturday afternoon. Staying in St Augustine for most of the week (Cheap Rooms) and then the last night Daytona.

The hardest part about going to Daytona is leaving. It usually takes about a month to get over the depression once I'm back home.

I'm about 50 miles from Rossmeyers Big store. Anyone ever go to Robison's when in Daytona ? He was the Original dealer. Every Bike week and Biketoberfest they open rear warehouse and sell old stuff. Been picked thruogh pretty much, still enjoy looking and still finding things...

No Mad Dog you're not being stupid. But I will tell you from my experience that one day is not enough. I went two years ago for one day. I was in Tampa for another event and stayed over so I could go to Daytona Bike Week for a day. There was so much to see and do I wish I would've had more time.
