Will do. I am wondering if they are still made. I order them from two separate companies and both of the orders were declined saying out of stock and not getting them anymore. Sheesh, the old days everyone had them.

Yeah,, they even made good power,,, but now,,, you need tha $1k+ pipe,, those cheap $300 pipes will ruin your engine,,, lol. The % cut on each sale is the same,, they just want the cut on $1k,, not $300...

Aint that the truth....... used to be able to get thunderheaders new with shields for 5-600. Now the heat shields alone will cost you 200 and their "quality" really never improved much. True dual Rhineharts were expensive to me at about 1000 for the set, but now any shorty thunder cone look alike will cost that and god forbid you want the stainless look, add a coma regardless of the maker for that

Sadly,Cycle Shack is out of business.Buzz Dyer closed it.There was some litigation between him and HD about ten years ago and he ended up (unfortunately) on the losing end.I believe they shut down about 2 yrs.ago.
They offered great performing pipes and best of all,they were affordable.

Thanks, man. I did not know this. And they sounded good too. Hmm, guess I will go a rootin' round for something else. Looking for duals with a full robust bass sound, loud or not so.

While out of production... a friend got a set for his shovelhead not that long ago..
what is in the catalog and what is actually available is always a crap shoot on the WWW, but persistence paid off for him...

i just now punched in "cycle shack exhaust harley davidson on ebay"
and saw some new and used pipes (google).

I have been punching in PHD-123SS because that is what I wanted, but I shall broaden my search on eBay as suggested. Just getting bored with the drag v&h’s

You might also look for used SE slash cut slip ons. Some time ago they were made for HD by CS. I had a set of SEII slip ons and liked them well-enough. I'm sure you could fiddle with the baffles and open them up a bit. Also - OEM tapered slip ons can be decent if you open them some too. Got to think there are a lot of those out there.

SE, good idea. I like the slash cut the best although. Realizing now that I will have to be creative. Looking for "FXR" and exhaust on the net is a very limited selection.

Are they straight pipes or baffling inside? I had to google a picture of the cycle shacks and if just straight pipes I would think they were pretty easy to make or have any muffler shop make.

slip ons with some baffle...enough to maintain crucial
back pressure so the ponies you have ain't pissed away
but a nice subtle crack and pop to them.
