I put a Metzler ME880 Marathon rear tire on my crossbones.. Tire seems fine, but I notice a little more front end wobble at low speeds. Harley Technician says it may be due to the rear tire being radial and front is bias??? Thinking of replacing the front tire with matching Metzler but would like to install a slightly more narrow tire on front. Suggestions and help PLEASE!!!

Tires

I thought both tires are supposed to one or the other ??
I don't mix them on my car and would not think of it on
a 2 wheeler either.
That's just me.

As far as I know most tires are radials these days. More than likely the wobble is from the 2 different tread designs of the Metzler and the stock tire. It's possible that playing around with the tire pressure might eliminate the wobble, so you can try that first.

Not for nothin', but my ride came stock with bias in the front and radial in the back. The tech was full of it. Glad to see you got it fixed.
