:chopper: I have a 2003 FXD Dyna, I'm going to install 3.37 gearing, I've already got all the parts to do the job but I'm using a Clymer service manual and according to the manual the compensating gears are different, for 1999 to 2000 it shows one type of gear setup and 2001 up it shows another. I ordered part # 40269-85A from Harley I hope it will fit, anyone have any info on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Cozza,

I'm sure someone will chime in with the part number, and if not - pm me, I'll find and send.

FWIW, years ago I ditched Clymers because of numerous discrepencies. Maybe they've changed, but you might look into getting the service and parts manuals for your bike. I have both and they are invaluable and accurate.

It will fit just fine.....get the H-D books.
I've used the parts same parts on;

2002 FXDL (dyna)
2002 FLSTF (softail)
2006 FLHTCUI (touring)

I think you're good to go.

Mr. clean, how was it on the 06 Ultra. That's what I'm riding so just curious.
Same as the others...no problems...no differences.
