Which one of the two should I get? Are they spring steel? I'm up here in Nova Scotia and all anybody seems to know is whats in the harley parts book. Also guys can you give me the part # ? I don't whant to make a mistake and order the wrong one. I have to order from your country. Or would one of you guys be able to sell me the gaskets and ship to canada?www.cometic.com

They call it .030" but more often then not they measure .032" after they have been crushed, that's why I call them .032"

In any event that's the part#

They may also call it spring steel. The packages say "S/S head gasket". In reality they are a 3 part composite gasket riveted together.

Naaaaaah!!!!! just the games manufacturers play.
In this case it's only a buck or two but on some big ticket item's it adds up.
While they obviously can do whatever they want, it's like Harley would sell the bikes to different dealers at different prices.
Now that's a concept, the dealers would still be independent businesses as they always claim.
