Hello,

I've searched the forum with little success. The Low Rider seems to be cold hearted. It struggles to fire up when cold.

Here are the particulars:

95" 10.5:1 compression ported heads w/compression releases
45mm Mikuni
ProPipe
Dave Mackie DM 590G cams 2* advance
Daytona TwinTec ignition

Basically, when cold it turns over great, but won't fire up with the choke pulled completely out. Eventually it will, but only after pushing the choke in to 1/4 and using the throttle to deliver fuel. At times, the battery (new HD) will drain before it will run. Also, it occasionally back fires, but won't fire up. It fires up on the first cycle when warm. I'm not sure where to start, but sure is frustrating.

Thanks in advance for your help. I'll be sure to post the fix, if found.
