I have a 1989 883. For the past few months I have noticed that when I pull the chock and start the bike, it starts right up but then idles rough and will buck and puff back through the carb. Once it's warmed up and the chock if off it runs fine. I have done the usual mods to the carb with a Screaming Eagle air cleaner, jet kit using a 180 main, 45 pilot, lighter piston spring and drilled out vacuum hole in the piston. I have an M.C. Power Arc ingition and baffled drag pipes. If the problem required a carb change, I was considering a Screaming Eagle unit because of less of a parts changeover....any info would be more than helpful....thanks
