Has anybody else experienced clutch slipping after they've switched to SYN 3 lubricant in the primary case?

No problem here. I've been running Syn3 for 7,500 miles without an issue.
Nope

Since I have the 10,000 mile services performed at 'stealerships', every 5,000 mile service, I do myself and use Amsoil 20/50 all the way around. At the dealers I have Syn 3 installed. Neither bike ('03 Ultra, '05 XL1200) has had any problems with either lube. Ultra has 32,000 miles and the XL has 10,500.
What kind of bike and how many miles??? have you tried adjustment as per manual? If you do a search Harris has the best description...thats actually in english and understandable....I have used syn3 in many bikes, never a slipping problem though....hope this helps

Running Syn 3 in the primary with no problems.

Is the clutch adjusted per the Service Manual?

How many ounces did you put in?
Doubt if the oil is the problem, did you put in no more than 950 ounces??
Would say it need's an adjustment.......run syn 3 in mine with no problem's.
clutch slipping

Don't know what year you got but I was told by my dealer the other day that there is a voluntary recall on all 2006 six speed transmisions because of this very problem ( slipping into gear from neutral while idling).
The recall was for slipping into gear, not clutch slipping. Syn 3 won't cause the clutch to slip.

Nearly 7 1/2 gallons? The oil tank is larger than the gas tank? Could this be a typo and you intended to say milliliters? My '05 TC calls for 24 oz. (0.71 liters) in the tranny and 32 oz. (946.35 ml.) in the chaincase.
