I have an Arlen Ness 'Big Sucker' stage one kit on my RK. Am wondering what the proper way to service this filter is. Blow it out with air? Oil it? And how often?

I know, I'm a dumb sh**, but we're job security for mechanics.

TIA

If AN uses K&N filters (which I think they do) go to an auto supply and buy the K&N cleaning kit and follow the instructions. Less than $10.

Cleaning filter

I know they look like the other filters but I'm told that Ness has a patent on theirs and they are proprietary. Maybe they use the same media but I'd like to be positive since they are nearly $50.00 to replace if I ruined it.

Careful with the oil too. Don't over do it....spray just enough to change the color of the element evenly. You don't want it saturated.
