"19. If possible, breed or buy a chrome Rottweiler."

Im going the other direction myself. black frame, black engine, and am painting black a couple of shiny accent bits that are currently silver. no chrome, no flames, no fringe. and I remove as much text as possible (peelable), im not going to muck with repainting, so anything under clearcoat gets to stay.

the goal is to be like dirty thunder, minus the lightning.

I second that... Chrome is better on other peoples bikes. Not your own... Why? Cause you don't have to wash other peoples bikes...

I'd rather be riding then cleaning/washing/wiping/detailing my bike.

Man I got tons of chrome and I never do any wiping and detailing. Just wash like normal and blow it dry with a leaf blower. No water spots and everyone thinks I spent hours on it.

Bingo. While I do have a few chrome things on ours, I decided to stay pretty much stock.

Someone asked me a couple of years back if I spent a couple of hours every Sat. washing and waxing the bike. I told them that if weather was nice enough to spend that much time doing that, I'd be riding instead.
