Looks like the dipstick is outside the cover. 66508-00, is this the one you have?

chrome cover ? eng - trans
i received (gift)a chrome engine trans interface cover. it covers the gap between the eng & trans. i haven't installed it yet, but it looks like it covers the access plug to check my trans fluid? anyone have this chrome cover? is it more of a pain then worth? if so i might take it back and exchange.

that looks like the one i have. i can't tell if the plug blocked or not......
