I have a 05 RG and would like to use the CB/Intercom radio found on the Ultras. The parts catalog doesn't make it clear if I can use the new HK unit, with some sort of adapter kit. It does mention using an Ultra radio for 03-05 models but gives no part numbers? Has anyone done this? Anything you got is more than I have.

Have an '03 RoadGlide and checked into this a few years ago. Dealer said it involved the whole radio/CD unit replaced plus the handlebar controls and a wiring harness run back for the helmet headsets...total cost of over $1200. Did the Chatterbox instead for $200. OK for music but the voice mics pick up too much outside noise while underway.
