Hi
I am working on my carburetor and this hose came out!
I have no idea where it is supposed to be connected. Any suggestions?
I am super frustrated searched everywhere, the manual, you tube, even called the mechanic with no luck.
Thank you so much
It’s a 1993 Softail with no upgrades.
WOW slowdown!...you also need a brass elbow installed at the fuel in port(when you know what you are doing).the plastic ones may crack/leak in time...not good on a hot eng...or hot rear caliper....mine decided to lock up and get real hot when mine cracked(bad timing)....lookup cv carbs...mods on youtube to get the learning process started...many mods/jetting etc are pretty easy...and wow...learn up before you call a greedy mechanic...he will see dollar signs
Ya know I would not worry about all that hooey, take the hose off the back of the carburetor, blow it out, replace on carb and thread between push rod tubes and rear cylinder, maybe use a black nylon tie(gently) to pushrod tube and drop down behind engine.
LOL....i had just made it to a gas station and caliper locking up and was red hot...then noticed gas dripping down and almost set the bike/gas station and street corner on fire....thats when i 1st got the bike....and getting the bugs out of my pile
