This is not a HD question but a question on a new 2003 Honda 250 Rebel I bought to practice on. I have almost 200 miles on it and for the last week or so it dies on me. I can have it in any gear and it will just quit like it ran out of gas. As happen to me more than enough times. The headlights don't dim, it does'nt cough it just dies like its not getting enough fuel. It takes at least a few minutes to start is back up. It has died in all the gears also. Last night was the final straw heading home it died in 3rd gear. Had to push it the rest of the way home. I'm supposed to get the manuel delivered today.

Any suggestions would be helpful and thank you in advance.

Sorry, I never read your post properly. I didn't see it was 'new'.
Take the MF back, let them sort it!
I assumed it was secondhand and had miles on it.

Took and drove the Rebel over to a dealership on Saturday it stalled two times on the way over. Had one of the guys in service dept ride it. It stalled on him to in 2nd gear. So they opened up the carburator and adjusted inside and it's running great.

Thanks

Cheri
