So...

FXD with TC88.

Should I stick with the stock carb and a rejet or move up to the SE/Mikuni 42mm or 44mm?

If I do the carb and air cleaner upgrade do I need to do the exhaust at the same time?

Reason is, if I buy this bike I need to put 1K of accessories on it at the time of purchase. I would like to add stage one and saddlebags, I just need to figure out what stage one parts I should head for.

We couldn't refuse advice to a student of the ol' colonel.

Cycle Shack slip on's, new style SE breater kit, rejet the CV. The trick is to get the CV right, more then one way to do that.

Thanks HIPPO. Haven't made it out there yet, but I plan on it.

Yeah I guess the Cycle Shack slip-ons will be a after pick up addon unless they qualify for the 1000 access. add-on. I have read that alot of folks like those better than the SE slip ons.
