I'm just tidying up my 98" with an Andrews 37G at 9.7:1 CR. I can't decide between the Mikuni 42 or 45. What do you guys think?

What exhaust? It's possible that a 45 will work. Call Steve @ GMR. He helped me to decide on which carb. (CV44)

My exhaust is V&H Propipe, and Steve called for a 42. I'm just second guessing, I guess, because I want to make the most out of what I got.

I've been waiting a month for the thing, and am checking locally because I don't want to have to set it up with the stock carb and manifold to break in, and then tear it down again for the SE manifold and Mikuni later.

you could use the 45mm on 98" We used it on a 95" build and it
worked out nice

42 or 45 will both work, the 42 would offer a bit less top end than the 45 the 45 would give up a bit of the low end. Mike call me got you covered.

With your choise of cam the 42 is the best for low end throtle reponse, drivability,
Change your cam to high lift/duration the 45mm would be inline.
