I have a 1986 FXR and would like to get some more light for riding at night. I want to install an aftermarket Adjure headlamp with a H4 55/60 watt Xenon bulb. However, I am not sure if the stock charging system on my FXR will be able to handle one of these modern headlight bulbs... do they draw more current?

The charging system on my bike is completely stock except for a modern H-D battery. If anyone can tell me if this would be a problem, I would be greatly appreciative.

A stock lamp is also a H4 55/60. The only difference is the gas that's trapped in the bulb. Stock is a Halogen gas, you want to run a Xenon gas. Go for it.
