On my third Fatboy, and have the hots for a deuce. Can I easily put on a deuce front end and tin set, not sure if all softail frames are identical. Or is it better to just trade for a deuce

i'd just trade

I'd bet the rake/trail is different on the frame, not to mention Tank, dash, fenders, seat, wheels, bars, and I'm sure a whole bunch more beneath the skin. I'd just trade...and get what you're jonesin' after, than ending up with a bike that has a split personality & title/designation...

I'll have to agree with 1bdBagr here. Just trade up to that Deuce you want.
What year is your Fat Boy?

I always thought the frame was the same for all softails. Although, I hear the Deuce 'feels' more rigid.
