Cams for torque

Hi I’m brand new on here but I’m looking to do a cam swap on my 2008 ultra classic. I’m not looking to make big hp, just need more torque. I’m wondering what cams would be good for that? also what tuner would you go with? I won’t be building the engine beyond stage 2. Thanks!

S&S 510's are a good cam for what you're trying to achieve.

Like Terry said, the 551 cam set is what you want for a stand alone torque increase. Just install the cams and tune it, no need for anything else to make it work well.

Andrews 48. S&S 551. I've had both of these in 96". Both perform very well.

Mastertune TTS-100 has the torque come on at 1,000 rpm.

Yeah I’ve been looking at the Andrews 57H. I’ll check out the 48‘s now. thank you!
Fueling 543 reaper. Have one in an 08' and a 2013. Awesome in both.

There is a considerable difference in Power range between 48 and 57 cams. The 48 comes on low but fizzles out easily by 4500 RPM Where the 57 comes in a little later but will carry up to 5,000 RPM. Two underrated cams for stock 96-in are the TW22 and TW5-6 cams by Woods.. I'm currently running the TW5-6 in a 103 and the power band is amazing..
