Here is a picture of my cam shoe's at 30,000 miles on a FXST Softail STD. I had the dealer where I bought my bike change it over to a gear drive set up with Andrew's 26G cams, screamin eagle adjustable push rods and gaskets etc: cost of parts was all most $700 and they charged four hours labor.I decided to go with a gear drive set up just so I wouldn't have to think about cam shoe wear ever again.:hmmm:

Those look just like mine do at 20,000, not too bad really. It funny because with 20,000 on mine, they look better than my last set at 14,000.
I also just went with gears.

Did you happen to ask?

Hay TJW, did you happen to ask how much the dealer wanted to replace the shoes with new shoes?
