I ride a Road King and all the exhaust noise is behind me. Do gear drive cams make more noise? I'm considering the aw37g also what about value ping? Locally we get 91 octane gas. Would I be hearing value ping with this type of cam?

You may or may not pick up more noise with the gear drive. If the gears are a little tight you will get a little gear whine (I actually think this sound is cool). If they are a little loose you will pick up some valve train noise. If you stick with the correct compression ratio for the cam pinging shouldn't be a problem.
