I wanted to throw this on here and see if anyone experiences this.

One thing Im noticing with my bike is gears 1 thru 4 I go thru RPMs in each gear quickly almost feels and sounds like motor is reving high and makes the bike feel not as smooth and little sluggish. Not sure if it’s a cam issue , tune or what. Can anyone shed some light as to why this is? Thx

I second the clutch is possibly slipping

If it were the clutch wouldn't it tend to slip more at higher gears?

Stock gearing? Stock motor?

I run through the first four gears pretty quickly myself on most bikes, but it's smooth and not as you describe.

A bit more information would be helpful.

As said above, the clutch would be the #1 suspect. Run along at about 3000 rpm in 3rd gear, then yank the throttle pull on. See if the motor spins up, you can watch the tach and speedo. If the tach takes off and the speedo catches up when you let off, you need some new clutch plates.
