Call John or Brian at Hale's HD and they'll fix you up. But know what parts you want before calling. They get a lot of calls and prefer you know what you want when you call.

There are several other dealerships that off 20% off, Chicago HD, Crystal River and a few others. Have do business with Chicago and Hales and have no complaints about either.

Just FYI there's a big swapmeet (billed the largest indoor swapmeet in the country) Feb 4-5 at McCormick Place in Chicago. You want parts, go. I'll be there Saturday.

Swap meets can work. BUT you need to KNOW EXACTLY what it is you are buying and the price range for the item{s}, so you don't wind up with "decorations" for the garage. Plan & research well.

If you go EBAY always check S & H fees and sellers feedback.

And check the sellers "return policy"...restocking fees & charges, ect.

Zanotti Motors (https://www.zanottimotor.com/shopping/partLookUp.html) has great 25% off pricing on original H-D stuff for your bad a$$ Sporty. I did most of my XL1200C hop-up through them. Works best if you got to H-D and pick the parts and cut-n-paste the H-D part numbers into their part look-up page. Also, based on some current threads I am gonna get flak now for suggesting this, but searching the VTF for best online prices turns up 3 or 4 threads on the first page that will have lots more info like this.

Here's my favorite: http://www.benjyshd.com/home.asp

I've heard good things about Direct Parts http://www.directparts.com/ and Zippers http://www.zippersperformance.com/

A local favorite of mine is Led Sled: http://www.ledsledcustoms.com/
They specialize in sportsters and can get anything you need at a fair price.

And if you know what you want and are patient, eBay is great!

You're right Homarr, keep forgetting about Benjy. If you call BenjysHD ask for Jennie (spl?)...she's a sweetheart. (Use to work at Hale's.) I've bought a lot of stuff thru her over the years and she DOES know her stuff.

And Lux, as far as getting some heat over telling him to do a search...not from me. I tell everybody I talk to, to do a search first. But what the hey!!!
