I know that this subject has been discussed some. I ran a search on break in and came away a little unclear about what the members think.
Some said to ride it like you would normally, some said keep it under 65 mph, some said between 2500 and 5000 rpm range. I know that this is a subjective matter. For sure I heard loud and clear---no lugging.
A couple of questions:
What does H-D recommend in the manual?
How about things like hard accelleration----should it just be avoided for the first 1K or so?
At highway speeds, keep varying the speed, right?
Man, this is my first aircooled V and I want to break her in right.
