2002 Road King FLHRCI. Brake system is stock H-D.
The rotors measure at .019" and the service manual says .018" is minimum thickness so I suppose it is time to replace the rotors.

Question: How thick are the new rotors? My front brakes have new pads. The wheel spins freely when of the ground but the lever pull is minimal in that I barely pull the lever and I start braking. The brakes work great just there is very little lever pull required.

How much better do you think it will get?

If they start to "pulse" then replace them.

...You might have to curtail the "stoppies"

I think the decimal in the first post is in the wrong place, could they be 0.190 measured with 0.180 wear limit? That would make more sense as a 0.020 metal is really a sheet.

Terry says 0.215 new so you are in for new rotors either now or soon.
