Anyof you Deluxe owners have Boss Bags on your bike? If so could you post some pics.
Those bags look great. what ones are they the 36 or 42's?haksaw88 said:i've got them but i can't post pics on here. here's a few links
best bags i've ever owned. You can't mount the biggest style of boss bags if you have stock pipes. The pipes are too high and get in the way of the bag. If you have aftermarket pipes you can
Thanks for the pics, Been wondering what a set would look like on a B/W Deluxe since I have one too. I agree with you, the HD bags for the Deluxe are way too small. I wish I could have seen a set before I bought them, got them from M and M Cycles.com. Pretty sure I will ebay them and get a set of Boss or LeatherPros. Bad thing is to get the larger size bags to work, I will have to dump the stock pipes and slip ons. The spending never ends!!sft-tale said:Here are a few of my pics with the Boss bags installed. They look and work great. Lots of space. I think they were the next to the largest size offered. I loaded up a tent, sleeping bag, air mattress, and clothes for two weeks and took a 4400 mile trip from Mn. to Halifax, Nova Scotia and back this summer. Rode bikes for 7 days and spent 3 days in Hubbards Cove, Nova Scotia. Used stock seat all the way there----just fine. Put the airhawk cushion on the seat for the return trip--even nicer! You will like the bags. I take them off for just bopping around town. Takes 15 seconds to remove and no tools required. I looked at the Harley bags for the Deluxe---I couldn't even get a jacket or even my rain gear in those little wallets.
I think the tool box will work with the 36 bag but they give you a template to relocate, but you better check to be sure.69 Z-28 said:According to the Boss website, the 34 models will fit with the stock pipes. Any size bigger will not. I like the look of the 36, the way it slants back. Also, the 32 will not work with a tool box installed and I really like the look of the tool box on the Deluxe. Plus, been wanting a reason to change out the pipes anyway.
