In an ideal world, all a person would need is a straight set of hex wrenches, I only use the ball ends when access isn't possible with flat faced bit or L-wrench. But thanks for your tip....The ball end isn't for loosening screws, just to turn them once they are loose.
Whoa......I don't think that is a very good example. Maybe more like calling a motorcycle a harley. Everyone knows what you are talking about.Just a trivia note. Calling their hex key wrenches 'allen' wrenches, is like calling all burgers 'Mac Donalds'. Allen is a brand, not the tool. Look at the website, and you'll see they are called hex keys.
