What is the fattist tire I can put on my 05 Road King?

What to use Metzeler's, currently have stock MU85B16 Dunlops.

What the heck is MU85B16 anyway? Will a 150/80B16 work? Would like to keep the aspect ratio as close as possible.

thanks!

There are a couple of companies that make bolt on conversions that all you to put a 200 mm tire on a bagger. About $4K as I recall (and you'll need to get the new rear fender painted, so add in some more $$$).

An MU85B16 dunlop is 143 mm wide. it's wider than the 140 metzler. the MU85B16 became standard in 04 on all baggers. A 150 will not go in.

i have installed 3 150 metz's on 04 up bikes now. My 05 FLHTC, my dads 05 S/E electraglide and a customers 04 roadking. They all fit very well. It is a little tighter getting the tire/wheel up in the fender to put the axle in. But on all bike they went on no problem. Just check fender, and belt guard clearance. ALso if you go with the metz, keep the tire pressure up where they recommend....Hope it helps, any problem P.M. me
