I have a 2002 Big Dog Bulldog and would like to increase the rake from 39* to 41*. I'm also going to be changing the 19" front wheel to a 21".

Tha frame has 35* of rake and the trees are 4* for a total of 39*. Will changing to 6* trees cause a unsafe ride? Will the forks need to be longer?

I'm new to this and I just want to make my dog a little different than all the rest.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

THANKS!!!!!

I wouldn’t call it unsafe, but you would be close to being unsafe. Moving to an 21” wheel will help some, as that will increase your trial. Longer fork tubes will increase your trail also. Ideal trial is around 4”. My setup is a 36 degree neck, 5 degree trees, 6 over tubes. I love it. My trail is about 4.3 (near perfect) handles great.
Hear is a calculator to play with.
