Yes, the snake is not new. In my life, I don't control my bike many times, and many people in front of me slick down for the snake cases.

I still find the painted line and arrows much worse, particularly the turn arrows that take most of the turn lane, hard to avoid. The factory 21" Dunlops on the Sportster were terrible on tar snakes (or is that latex snake now?), the same size Michelins much better, the wider 19's on the FXLR even better for snakes going more in the road direction.

Before I retired, I worked for Caltrans Californy DOT near Lake Tahoe. When we would lay Black snakes on the Hwy (two lane) we would put Sand over the top, Funny The Supervisor and I road Harley's. So on our roads Motorcycles were safe on the turns
