I have a tank which has the original HD paint and decals. I want to strip it prior to sending it out for custom repainting. I have been told to use "Aircraft stripper" whatever that stuff is? or is there something better that will remove the paint down to bare metal.......Thanks

By the time you buy the materials and/or the tools to strip it, you'd be better off just letting the painter strip it for you. Not gonna save much $$$ doing it yourself.

You can find the aircraft stripper at any auto parts store like Advance or Auto Zone. The stuff work really good. Make sure you have plenty of ventalion and wear some rubber gloves. It will strip anything that it come in contact with, even skin. Good luck.
